Founded in 1992 and accredited by ACSI and COGNIA, we serve infants through grade 12. Ovilla Christian School is a ministry of Ovilla Road Baptist Church.

Spanish Teacher (Elementary and Middle School)
We are seeking a full-time Spanish teacher for Kindergarten through 8th grade. In alignment with the school's mission, all teachers are responsible to disciple students and actively engage in the OCS community in ways that promote student growth spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and relationally.
This position requires:
A Bachelor’s degree with a focus on education, subject matter, or related discipline.
Three years of demonstrated, effective teaching experience.
The knowledge and skills to teach K-8 Spanish lessons that give students a foundation in the language.
The desire and competence to plan collaboratively with colleagues to develop units and implement instruction that is coherent, purposeful, and engaging.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Create age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that align with language standards and integrate cultural awareness.
Teach vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and basic conversational skills through engaging activities and resources.
Introduce students to Spanish-speaking cultures, traditions, and customs to enhance language learning.

Coaching Positions
Ovilla Christian School (2A) in Ellis County is looking to fill the following positions.
Assistant Varsity Football Coach
Athletics play an important role in the lives of many students while attending Ovilla Christian School. As Christian coaches and athletes, we desire to place Christ as the center of our focus both on and off the athletic field/court. We seek to have His attitude, His actions, and His mindset in every endeavor.

Bus Driver
We regularly transport students to events both during the school day and on evenings and weekends, and we need more qualified Christian drivers to serve the students with excellence. A driver must ensure the safe and orderly transportation of students to and from assigned destinations. A valid Texas commercial driver’s license (Class B) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements is required. Authorization to operate a vehicle with air brakes is preferred. The pay is $60/trip.

Substitute Teacher
We are accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year.
We need Christian substitute teachers who love students and will facilitate the continuation of the OCS education program as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of a regular teacher. A substitute must maintain effective classroom management strategies and calmly maintain professionalism as he or she follows the plans provided by the teacher, substitute coordinator, and/or administration.

Eagle Camp Staff
We need Eagle Camp Staff to provide diligent supervision for the children in their care.
The Eagle camp program is an extension of the Ovilla Christian School day. It is established to provide proper care and supervision Monday through Friday for students in PreK3 - Grade 8 before and after school. The program seeks to develop the character of Christ in each child through the role models provided by the staff, methods of supervision, and Biblical discipline. An atmosphere of security, love, and personal well being is provided as the staff attempts to minister to the whole child.
